Animal Care Council's next garage sale will be held Saturday, October 24th from 9 AM to 2 PM at the Endwell fire station, located on Country Club Rd. Each year we have many great items and many “good buys.”

Please stop by for a great bargain, or donate some of your “stuff” to us to sell. All proceeds go directly toward helping the animals.

(Information about donating items for our garage sale will be posted closer to October 24.)

Can’t make it to our shelters? See adoptable ACC cats and kittens at our Adoption Day at Creature Comforts on August 15 from noon to 3:00 in the Northgate Plaza.
All cats/kittens have been tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, have been wormed, and have also been checked (and treated, if necessary) for fleas and ear mites.

Adults have also been spayed or neutered and have received rabies and distemper vaccinations.

Kittens have had at least one distemper vaccination (with a booster available through ACC). If they're unspayed/unneutered, the adoption fee will include a refundable deposit for spaying/neutering. (This deposit may be used at our low-cost spay/neuter clinic.)

For more information, please call us at 786-5740.

Prior to completing an adoption, we check veterinary references. Because most veterinarian's offices are closed on Saturdays and we can't call them, you may bring us veterinary records from your previous/current pets so we can check vaccination and neutering status.

Animal Care Council gets requests to take in homeless--or about-to-be-homeless--cats daily and we need foster homes when there simply isn't enough space at our shelter to help each cat or kitten who needs to come in "now." Foster parents allow ACC to help more cats and kittens in these emergency situations.

During the warmer months of the year the need is greatest for foster homes for litters of kittens who are too young to be in our shelter. Orphaned kittens, as well as kittens with moms, need foster homes to stay in until they're old enough to come to our shelter.

Throughout the year, we also need foster homes for adult cats--usually just one or two cats who either need some special care or who just need a temporary home while we make room for them at our shelter.

Foster parents help ACC help more homeless pets!

For more information, please call our shelter at 786-5740.
